AGM and Annual Conference

The Little Athletics NSW Annual Conference is held each year in conjunction with the Annual General Meeting and aims to provide centre representatives and zone coordinators the opportunity to: listen and learn about what is happening in the world of Little Athletics and how other centres operate in the state; find out more about how and why things are done or why they are not; engage with selected presenters applying their knowledge to Little Athletics settings; attend workshops, feedback sessions, forums and networking sessions; share ideas and opinions about matters which may benefit their centre and/or the individual personally; meet and socialise with many other people involved in Little Athletics with excellent opportunities to make new friends/contacts within the organisation.

2024 Annual Conference & Annual General Meeting 

Save the date and join us on 27 & 28 July, 2024, at Coffs Harbour Ex-Services Club for the 2024 Little Athletics NSW Annual Conference, Awards Dinner (Saturday night), and AGM. All Little Athletics Centres across NSW are invited to send representatives to learn more about the latest developments in the world of Little Athletics.

2023 Annual Conference & Annual General Meeting Presentations

2023 Annual Conference, Awards Dinner and AGM

Join us on Saturday, July 15, 2023, at St Mary’s Leagues Club for the 2023 Little Athletics NSW Annual Conference, Awards Dinner, and AGM. All Little Athletics Centres across NSW are invited to send representatives to learn more about the latest developments in the world of Little Athletics and to discover how other Centres operate.

In addition to the AGM and Conference on Saturday, the Little Athletics NSW Annual Awards Dinner will be held on Saturday night. Both of these events are also taking place at St Mary’s Leagues Club.

On Sunday, 16 July (9am-1pm),  Little Athletics NSW Head of Coach and Volunteer Development, Darren Wensor, will present the Coaching Kids Conference, a supporting event to the Annual Conference, which will include guest presenters from several different sporting codes.

2022 Annual Conference, Awards Dinner and AGM

For an opportunity to learn more about what is happening in the world of Little Athletics, or to find out how other Little Athletics Centres operate, we invite representatives from all Centres across NSW, to join us on Saturday July 16 and Sunday July 17 2022 at Ettalong Diggers  for the 2022 Little Athletics NSW Annual Conference, Awards Dinner and AGM.

The Annual Conference program is put together to give Centre personnel the chance to engage with selected keynote speakers, attend workshops, share ideas and opinions, and establish new contacts.

2022 Theme:
Building a Stronger Little Athletics Community

This is an opportunity to reconnect and get back to grass roots with topics to be covered including:
• New legislation relating to Child Safe Standards
• Updates regarding Working with Children Checks
• Innovation from Centres across NSW
• The launch of Age Manager/Parent Helper training
• The vision for Little Athletics in NSW
• “How to” sessions including managing conflict and writing grants
• AND MUCH MORE with guest speakers, workshops and discussion groups
Don’t forget to also book your tickets to the Annual Awards Dinner on the Saturday night where we will announce the award winners and celebrate 50+1 years of Little Athletics in NSW.
Ettalong Diggers, Ettalong Beach – 16-17 July 2022

In addition to the AGM and Conference on Saturday, welcome drinks for conference attendees will be held on Friday evening/night (July 15 2022) and the Little Athletics NSW Annual Awards Dinner will be held on Saturday night. Both of these events are also taking place at Ettalong Diggers.

2021 Annual General Meeting

The 2021 Little Athletics NSW Ltd. Annual General Meeting will be held from 8.30am on Saturday, 17 July 2021.

Due to the current COVID-19 related restrictions, the 2021 Annual General Meeting will be conducted as a ‘virtual’ meeting, held electronically utilising the Zoom video conferencing facility. Instructions on how to register for the Annual General Meeting and join the Zoom Video Conference, including login details, will be provided directly to all eligible Members/Delegates.

2021 Annual Conference

Unfortunately, due to the uncertainty surrounding COVID-19 and what restrictions will be in place over the coming weeks, we have made the difficult decision not to proceed with the Conference and Awards Dinner due to be held 17-18 July at Wests, Nelson Bay.

Little Athletics NSW will be in contact with registered attendees.

We will also host a number of online sessions over the coming weeks along with the Annual General Meeting. More information regarding this to follow.

2020 Annual General Meeting

The 2020 Little Athletics NSW Ltd. Annual General Meeting will be held from 4:30pm on Saturday, 18 July 2020.

Due to the Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic, the 2020 Annual General Meeting will be conducted as a ‘virtual’ meeting (i.e. held electronically utilising Zoom video conferencing facilities). Instructions on how to register for the Annual General Meeting and join the Zoom Video Conference, including login details, will be provided directly to all eligible Members/Delegates.

2019 Annual General Meeting & Conference

For an opportunity to learn more about what is happening in the world of Little Athletics, or to find out how other Little Athletics centres operate, we invite representatives from all 190 centres across NSW, to join us on Saturday, 20 July 2019 at Penrith Panthers Leagues Club  for the 2019 Little Athletics NSW Annual General Meeting and Conference.

The Annual Conference program is put together to give centre personnel the chance to engage with selected keynote speakers, attend workshops, share ideas and opinions, and establish new contacts. Guest speakers at the 2019 conference will include former professional rugby league player and local hero, Mark Geyer; renowned social researcher, Claire Madden; and elite coach and exercise physiologist, John Quinn.

In addition to the AGM and Conference on Saturday, welcome drinks for conference attendees will be held on Friday evening/night (19 July 2019) and the Little Athletics NSW Annual Awards Dinner will be held on Saturday night. Both of these events are also taking place at Panthers.

On Sunday, 21 July (9am-1pm), just down the road at the Penrith RSL, Little Athletics NSW Head of Coach and Volunteer Development, Darren Wensor, will present the inaugural Coaching Kids Conference, a supporting event to the Annual Conference, which will include guest presenters from several different sporting codes.

2018 Annual General Meeting & Conference

The 2018 Little Athletics NSW Annual General Meeting and Conference was held on Saturday, 21 July and Sunday, 22 July 2018 at The Pavilion, Kiama.

The theme of the conference was “Sport: a beacon of light, shining a light on the future”.  The focus was on diversity, inclusion and the road ahead.  The agenda boasted a broad range of workshop topics and an impressive array of keynote speakers, including:
