Little Athletics NSW has a history of conducting camps and clinics and the Christmas Camp has been a regular event on the calendar over a long period of time.

This year thing will look a little different with no overnight stay, however we are excited to host a two-day clinic in December which provides the flexibility of attending one or both days.

The LANSW Christmas Clinic is open to everyone, not just Little Athletics registered members. Participants must be aged 7-14yrs.

It’s an opportunity to enhance athletic skills in a fun, safe and engaging environment.

What does each consist of

• Rotating 1 hour coaching session in the morning
• Pool recovery session
• Afternoon team challenges
• Morning Tea, Lunch and Afternoon Tea
• Lots of learning and fun!

Day 1 – Monday 20 December

Events Coached

Sprints, High Jump, Shot Put (7-10 years) / Javelin (11 plus years)

“Team v Team” Challenge

Point score activity where athletes are split into two teams and go head to head against each other in an athletics inspired circuit activity. The team who scores the highest points will claim VICTORY!!!

Day 2 –Tuesday 21 December

Events Coached

Hurdles, Discus, Long Jump, Triple Jump (11 plus years)

“Team v Team” Challenge

SAS Challenge which will challenge athletes in an SAS style “Bootcamp” activity. While this will be CHALLENGING it is all about the FUN!!!
