Update 6 July 2021

Unfortunately, due to the uncertainty surrounding COVID-19 and what restrictions will be in place over the coming weeks, we have made the difficult decision not to proceed with the Conference and Awards Dinner due to be held 17-18 July at Wests, Nelson Bay.

All registered attendees will receive an automatic refund from Little Athletics NSW in the coming days to the card the payment was made from. If you have any queries regarding your refund, don’t hesitate to get in touch at admin@lansw.com.au

Little Athletics NSW will host a number of online sessions with important information that was to be presented at the conference, including training on the new registration platform GameDay. Information regarding these presentations will be communicated once details have been finalised.

The Awards Dinner will be rescheduled once there is more certainty around restrictions. This will be an opportunity recognise the 2020/2021 Award finalists and recipients, and celebrate 50 Years of Little Athletics in NSW.

Nominations for Elected Directors have closed and we are pleased to advise that we have received six (6) nominations, being: Melissa Chandler (nominated by Ryde Athletics Centre); Karen Cundasawmy (nominated by South Eastern Little Athletics Centre); Nicola Drinkwater (nominated by Northern Suburbs Little Athletics Centre); John McFadden (nominated by Ku-ring-gai Little Athletics Centre); Vivien Miller (nominated by Lower Clarence Little Athletics Club); and Costa Zakis (nominated by Katoomba District Athletics Club).

Please note that voting for the election of Directors is being conducted as an electronic ballot only, meaning all votes for the election of directors will be required to be lodged via an electronic voting process by 8am, Thursday 15 July.

Mr Ross Bidencope, CEO of Sport NSW, is the appointed Returning Officer for Little Athletics NSW in 2021, and will facilitate this process by providing an electronic voting option via the Sport NSW website. Please note that eligible voting members have been issued with a separate email from Sport NSW regarding the voting process, in which delegates are provided with the access details for the voting portal.
