Little Athletics NSW is pleased to announce that Naomi Tancred has been Appointed as a Director to the Board.

With over 26 years in the legal profession and a partner at Hicksons Lawyers, Naomi brings a wealth of experience in insurance and employment law, workers compensation, OH&S matters and general legal advice.

Naomi was previously a member of the Competition Advisory Committee for Athletics NSW and assists her Little Athletics Centre with their local competitions where her children compete.

As a participant and member herself of Athletics East, Naomi has been running competitively for over 10 years.

“Athletics is a sport that my family and I love, and this is an opportunity for me to give back”, she said.

“I look forward to being able to bring my knowledge through business and sport to the Little Athletics NSW Board and make a valuable contribution”.

LANSW Chair, Melissa Chandler echoed these thoughts.

“Naomi brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise from her professional career that will assist the Board and Little Athletics NSW across the state.

“In addition, Naomi understands the sport from Tiny Tots to Masters having had children participate from a young age and through to her own experiences as a Masters athlete. This makes her a perfect fit for the position as Appointed Director.”
