Tiny Tots On Track Workshop

This workshop is designed to help clubs and organisations plan, develop and deliver effective movement programs for pre-school-aged children.

Who is the workshop for?

This workshop is for anyone who is, or may become, involved in the delivery of a movement program for pre-school-aged children i.e. Sports club personnel, teachers, coaches, parent helpers

Time Commitment

2 hours attendance face-to-face (No pre-course work or reading required).

Longer workshops can be customised.

Workshop Content

The workshop content includes:

  • What should a good tiny tots program look like?
  • What motivates kids?
  • Youth physical development
  • The importance of fundamental movement skills and strength
  • Tiny tots activity ideas – bean bags, hoops, pool noodles, ribbons, concept games, parachute, circuits
  • How to involve the parents

Participant Requirements

  • There are no prerequisites to attend this workshop.
  • There is no assessment, written or practical.


This workshop is provided as professional development and therefore no formal accreditation is gained for attendance.
