Kumon State Combined Carnival 2023 moved to Dubbo

In March 2022, Little Athletics NSW announced in partnership with Wagga Wagga City Council that the 2023 Little Athletics NSW Kumon State Combined Carnival would be held at the Bill Jacob Athletics Centre.

Since then, a $4.1 million upgrade including a synthetic track has been announced for the Bill Jacob Athletics Centre at Jubilee Park which means hosting this event in 2023 will not be possible with works required to commence later this year as part of the funding requirements.

As a result, we have worked with Dubbo Regional Council and the Kumon State Combined Carnival will take place at Barden Park on Saturday 4 and Sunday 5 March 2023.

The upgrade of the Bill Jacob Athletics Centre is an extremely exciting project and we have committed to hosting the event there in 2025 once the upgrade has been completed.
