The board of Little Athletics NSW are thrilled to share with you the appointment of Chris Giles to the position of Chief Executive Officer.

Chris was a standout amongst a group of strong candidates, and we know he is the right person to lead LANSW in its next exciting period off the back of amazing registration numbers for 2022/23.

Chris is an accomplished Not for Profit Executive with fifteen years of Senior Management experience in diverse and complex community organisations such as Surf Lifesaving Australia, and for the past 4 years has been CEO of the Australian Kookaburra Kids Foundation.

Chris is an innovative and strategic thinker with a proven track record of achievement and is a leader that works collaboratively with all stakeholders. Chris is a dad of two kids that participate in Little A’s and is acutely aware of the challenges we have as an organisation that heavily relies on volunteers.

“It is an honour and privilege to having been appointed Chief Executive Officer of Little Athletics NSW”, Chris said. “Little Athletics is such a unique sport focussed on participation, learning skills and improving, and I look forward to working with the entire Little Athletics community to help more kids learn to love the sport of Athletics.”

Chris will start with Little Athletics NSW on Monday 23rd January 2023.

We are really looking forward to welcoming Chris to the Little Athletics NSW community as he leads us and this iconic sports brand into the future.
